Books on My Fall TBR

Confession: I love fall more than summer. I am not a summer person at all and hate all extremes. Dead of winter is almost as awful to me as that summer day where the humidity is so bad it’s suffocating..If you can’t tell, I’m incredibly dramatic. Either way fall and spring are where it’s at. So being it’s also Banned Books Week I thought it’d be fun to combine their theme for this year (diversity) with books I want to read this fall (but will probably be more like november/december). So here are 10 books on my fall tbr that celebrate diversity.

How to Party with an Infant by Kaui Hart Hemmings

Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi

Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng

Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

The Woman Next Door by Yewande Omotoso

Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian by Sherman Aexie

The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

Dante and Aristotle Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz!

Written in the Stars  by Aisha Saeed

Everything I Never Told You is great! And I liked Kite Runner years ago when I read it…have no idea what I’d think now.

    Enjoyed your combined list 🙂

Thanks and Everything I Never Told You is one I’ve gotten from the library twice now and just never find time to read before I have to return…Hopefully one day!
