End of Year Survey – 2016

This is my second year taking part in the End of Year Survey hosted by Jamie @ The Perpetual Page Turner. I always think this is a fun way to look back on the books I read throughout the year and remind myself of books I loved and promptly forgot about *cough* Challenger Deep. Holiday Gift Guide: Dad Edition


Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

This week’s topic was a Holiday Gift Guide freebie and I’m doing 10 books that are great for dads because they are honestly the hardest people to shop for. I can only buy my dad some tools or a giftcard to guitar center so many times. Last year I think it was a shovel and a gift card, nothing says love like, “please shovel my car out every morning.” So here are some books that I think all dads would love as a gift (and some that were on his goodreads to-read list because we all need some help every once in awhile).

Life Lately: September 2016

How is it already fall. I can’t be the only one thinking that just yesterday was May and somehow my summer disappeared? October may be the best month, I’m just not ready for it in any way. Saturday I’m finally moving out of my parents house and into an apartment a few towns over which has has basically been a shit show of me avoiding unpacking so obviously I’m just writing this instead 🙂 So here’s everything I was up to in September.

Life Lately: March 2016

So March is finally over and I’m so excited because April means Spring and no snow (hopefully). Sigh, it’s supposed to snow/ice/rain water thing this weekend and I am not looking forward to it. I’ve already put my winter coat in the back of my closet so I’m living in my fantasy Spring world and I’m completely okay with that.

March was a crazy busy month at work so I didn’t get much reading or posting or really anything in but hopefully it clears up soon because so many fun plans in April and May. So besides work and work here’s everything that March has been filled with.
